Class: Introduction to Composition: The Literary Essay, Volume 3

Description NOTE: This course is the first in a series of two continuous sessions. Students should enroll in both for the complete course. Level/Grade: Middle School / 5th–8th Registration Closes: 1/2/26 Classes Start: 1/23/2026 Length: 5 Weeks Day: Fridays Time: 9:00 am – 10:00 am PST Teacher: Claire Sakelson Materials: Books and Workbook included in cost and used in subsequent session. During two, 5-week sessions, our teachers will support students as they explore and construct 5 literary essays tied to exceptional picture books with highly developed themes. Students will work through the writing process, receiving feedback from the teacher on each essay.
