Citadel Base -Paints The perfect primer for painting an army. Citadel Base Paints are specially designed to provide full coverage and intense colour in one or two coats. They are acrylic-based and quick-drying, making them ideal for base-painting figures, whether it's a single hero or an entire army. These paints are thicker than the colors in the Layer series and contain more pigment, which allows them to adhere well even to more difficult-to-paint surfaces and form a strong, even base for subsequent layers, shading and highlights.
